Welcome to Montessori Children’s Community
Montessori Children’s Community was founded out of profound respect for children and a devotion to educating children for a peaceful world. Our Community is committed to Montessori’s approach to education and operates on the principle of freedom within limits, respect for one’s self, for others and for the environment.
We offer an Infant program (ages 6 weeks to 14 months), Young Toddler program (ages 15 months – 23 months), Toddler program for children age two and a Primary program for children ages three to six, as well as Art and Music class, Field Trips and Special Events.
Our environment is filled with beautiful, carefully chosen materials that progress developmentally from concrete expressions of concepts to more abstract representations. The materials in the classroom represent a four-year curriculum of work and they invite the child to explore and encourage the child to be creative.
